My Hawaiian Raw Eco Village Intentions

I am starting a Raw Foodist Eco Village in Hawaii. This post is details my intentions for the project.

The Community

  • Raw organic food will be the staple of the community.

  • The Eco Village will have a strong focus on spirituality with focus on meditation, minimalism, communication, and personal growth.
  • There will be a space set aside for meditation.
  • Community will be strongly emphasized, as most space/things will be communal.
  • The community will own land on the Big Island with abundant fruit trees which is close to town.
  • In town there will be a juice bar/raw food cafe connected to the organic farm/eco village. This will help sustain the eco village.
  • Connected to the juice bar there will be a community building for yoga, dancing, traditional arts, massage, music, or anything the community wants. The community space will be cooperatively managed by the larger surrounding community.
  • Decisions that effect the community will be made democratically in conscious

In sum:

A raw food community that lives on an eco-village organic farm which provides resources for a juice bar/raw food cafe community space on the big Island of Hawaii.

If you would like to be a part of this let me know. I’ll be on the Big Island mid April to start gathering resources.

EDIT: I have started an IdeaBlob about this project.

this sounds amazing…i hope that you are able to do it. i think society needs more of these places. i go to work in my cubicle every day and it seems like the drone routine completely wastes/misses the point of life.

Definitely, this is one of my hopes for the future! I really hope that all of the great plans for this community will work out. We raw vegans really need social aspect of life, it is psychology of humans to be more aroung each other, and its so great to be around people who care for their health enough to study and eat raw healthy foods!
And its so hard because we basically live in cities and we breathe that air, and all that stuff. Ah.
    May God bless this project!!!

    Hey, how are you?
    Are you in Big Island?
Have you got your vision board for the eco-village like that guy got his house in the movie “The Secret” ?

  5. I am very interested. I will be keeping a close eye on you. I might have to be in one of the few places on earth noni is taken for granted. When I eventually have the means I might pounce on this. You are an inspiration.

i was wondering how your experience and search for resources has gone.

please note: Pangaia, a piece of land on the big island is for sale. it is an amazing piece of property. my husband and i are working on buying it and making it a raw food retreat and community.
look forward to hearing from you

Hello this sounds like a wonderful idea. i’ve begun research into permaculture which will continue and have been eating raw for a while now. i definately would love to become a part of this creation. considering the date i wonder if this has already been established and if so if it is possible to move in and become a part of the village or if not if i could help make it happen…
