Stress seems to be caused by worrying about things that already happened or things that haven’t happened yet. Here are some great tricks to stay present and reduce your stress.
If you are stressed out about the past realize you did all you could do at the time, what is, is. Give as much weight to “What if’s” as you would a bed time story, because that’s all they are. What happened is what happened, leave it there.
If you are stressed about the future realize that it will happen when it happens there is nothing you can do about it now. When it happens it will happen, but now you are here, now.
Relax. Breathe. Take a moment and be in this present moment. You did your best, you will do your best, always. Relax in that. Treat yourself well.
